Anna Moreland, M.D.
Dr. Moreland joins Northern Virginia Radiology Consultants as a board certified diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training in interventional radiology. She has conducted research on the topics of percutaneous tumor ablation, transarterial chemoembolization for liver cancer, and women’s interventions. She has presented on these subjects at national meetings and published peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on the topics.
Dr. Moreland has a special interest in interventional oncology, particularly in the treatment of renal and hepatic tumors. She also has a special interest in women’s interventions–including the treatment of uterine fibroid disease, pelvic congestion syndrome, and chronic myofascial pelvic pain.
Originally a Wisconsin native, Dr. Moreland now resides in Arlington, Virginia with her husband–where they enjoy high intensity interval training, cooking, and the outdoors.
